I have only been able to participate in one or two events since the start of GW. I travel on most holidays and am usually out and about with friends on weekends.

I'd really like to see some events extended or held at non-traditional times for those of us who can't always be around during these times.

- Gamer Weekend: There was lots to do and it was fun. These are the kind of PVP things I enjoy. I'm not really into the normal PVP
- Snowball Arena: Just a fun little game
- Shamrock Ale and clover's: It was small, but still fun. I like this over normal rare items as these feel more special. Had so much fun using the clovers while cartographing the southern shiverpeaks
- Rare Chest loot: Always a good one for people going for the wisdom titles
- Double XP for elite skills: It's a nice incentive to finish off the elite skill list

Most of the others I don't really make use of.

The above are what really makes me go gah gah - the double gvg faction has been such a blessing in helping me get closer to UAX and the afk weekend of the boardwalk is usually perfectly timed for when my folks come visit and thusly I cant play anyways (I was upset that double faction arenas came the weekend they came -_- but I cannot win them all).
anything with DOUBLE and Gaming has me happy! (Tho this weekend will surely be uber leet and it makes me happy inside <3)

2) Free access to FoW/UW
3) Free access to Elite missions
4) Double faction in Competitive missions

Can I mention the keyless chests here? They are the best kind of event you guys give us. Just help us with the formula already!

I second Swampgirl Inez idea. Players either have weekends where they are free all the time while others have some weekends free now or depending on their work, friends, and other real life schedules do not have weekends free. Extending days allowed for such events will help those who may have real life conflicts to our desired gaming time.

i've enjoyed every weekend event tbh

but the top 5 would have to be:

- open access to elite missions (uw/fow/the deep/urgoz)
- shing jea boardwalk/gamer weekend
- special item drops
- double chance of rare item from chest/drops
- double chance of green drops

should have an easter event where candy drops from monsters

My favorite top 5 so far:
1. Key drops. It is like playing the lottery, but not having to pay for the tickets.
2. Access to FoW and UW.
3. Access to Elite areas.
4. Gamer Weekend.
5. Special item drops.

Some Ideas that I would like to see implemented, How about:
1. Double party size weekend. instead of being limited to 8 party members you can have 16 and so on.
2. Double elite weekend. You can equip 2 elites this weekend.

First my general likes and dislikes.

I dislike events that just make a certain aspect of play more rewarding than it usually is. They turn the game on its side too much. I'm pretty annoyed at these sometimes, because all I hear is: "I don't wanna do that right now, I wanna farm such and such this weekend because it's a double thingy event."

On the flipside, I enjoy most events that add/unlock something. Doing something completely different for a weekend, something you can't do at all most of the time, is pretty fun. Much more fun than half the people I know in-game obsessively trying to cash in on the double stuff every minute they're online.

Having said that, doubling or adding something that affects the totality of the game is fine too, like double key drops or the recent four-leave-clovers and shamrock ales. Anything that doesn't provoke marathon sessions of (monster X) farming has my blessing.

Here's my top 5 out of the ones listed, in no particular order.

2. The Day the Blantantly Broken Skills finally got balanced weekend
3. The Prophecies Skills and Professions only weekend (oh, I don't think this one actually happened - would be awesome though)

That's in order of preference.

I don't think the first one *should* be a weekend event -- access to PvE areas like UW and FoW should require Pve (not PvP) achievments, period. Otherwise, I think access to HA should be controlled by somethign people do in PvE, just to be fair.

How about a scooby snack(or whatever you wanna call it) weekend. Special item drop which when you use it and your pet/heroes get a damage/armor buff for 10 mins.
